The Perspectify Approach

perspectify (v.)
To intentionally shift your viewpoint and change what you do next.

Many performance gaps aren't skill problems. They're perspective problems. An unhelpful perspective can be the underpinning of blocked progress and sustained slippage, into decreased motivation, confidence and results.

What you think and believe shapes your decisions and actions. Unhelpful or unchallenged beliefs quietly drive repeated patterns, the same reactions, the same results, the same frustrations.

The Perspectify framework and philosophy is more than positive thinking. It's structured, practical work, grounded in behavioural science, built from real experience in emergency medicine, mental health, and performance coaching.

Your motivation, our methodology = meaningful movement.

What's on Offer

1. Coaching

Perspective coaching for people navigating challenge, chasing better performance, or ready to make a change.
We start with an honest baseline — looking at your helpful and unhelpful thinking, behaviour and beliefs as well as your foundational strengths and values.
From there we build a targeted timed strategy, working through your challenge/change usually in four to eight coaching sessions.

Clients work with me on clarity, decision-making under pressure, career and role transitions, relationships, challenge and change.

2. Training

Accredited and non-accredited training for individuals, teams and organisations — including first responders, frontline workers, and high-pressure workforces.
Covering mental health, psychological first aid, resilience and performance maintenance and improvement.  Delivered face-to-face, online, or blended.
Tailored to your team, individual and industry.

3. Tools & Resources

- Annual Review and Planning Guide.

Practical frameworks for reflection, planning, and performance. Designed from clinical and coaching experience and built for people who want to look more deeply.

Available now for individuals. Team and corporate editions coming soon.

 - Operational Performance and Resilience Baseline.

Self-assessment across the nine life domains that support and maintain your performance and resilience.

I'm Marty.

Guitarist, dad, trainer/presenter, coach, retired paramedic, L-plated surfer, based in Manly, NSW.

Twenty years in high-pressure environments — emergency medicine, frontline mental health, student wellbeing, and operational leadership taught me one consistent thing: most of what limits people is how they're seeing the situation and themselves.

Perspectify came from that. It's not a philosophy I invented — it's a pattern I kept seeing in my work, in my friends, and in myself.

Find another perspective and the options open up.

I work with people who are willing to look honestly at what's driving their performance — and take deliberate action from there.

If that's you, let's talk!
